The story, in our words
It started with a birthday surprise
I'm Brad. I'm an engineer and a Navy veteran, and Aubrie and I started Fat & Weird together.
Hi, I'm Aubrie! I'm Brad's wife, a creator and entrepreneur, and a former speech language pathologist. In April 2018 I secretly asked my Instagram followers to send Brad cookies for his birthday.
Over 1,000 cookies showed up.
You guys, over 1,000 cookies! Let's be real, that's a birthday surprise.
Four months later, in August 2018, we started Fat & Weird.
Big. Stuffed. A little weird. And so good you text your friends about it.
All in
"We put our own names on the line."
To land the Target program, we needed new machinery. Aubrie and I personally guaranteed the line of credit against our home to buy it.
Today our Lil Weirdos Mini Cookies are in Target stores nationwide. That's what believing in something looks like.
When Brad asked if we were making the right call, I told him, "I'll live with you in a cardboard box if that's what we got to do." God has been good to us.

We started Fat & Weird to make fun cookies, because no one was making fun flavors like we did. Big cookies with something stuffed in the middle, like Massive Eruption, our lava cake cookie stuffed with fudge. Flavors that make you laugh before you take a bite.
Now we're bringing that fun to the cookie aisle with Lil Weirdos Mini Cookies. Let's be real, y'all, that aisle has looked the same forever. We're here to make it weird.

Chip N Drip is a chocolate chip cookie stuffed with salted caramel. Sweet and salty in one warm bite.

Aubrie Doughkie is a glazed donut sugar cookie with unicorn chips, stuffed with pink sprinkle donut.
